Digital Learners
As you dive in…
I am so excited to share these valuable resources with you!
A very warm and heartfelt - ngā mihi maioha. Your engagement in this mahi is incredibly important and will make a positive impact on the lives of so many tamariki and whānau within your kura.
I truly feel that these resources have been ‘processing’, in development, floating around my brain… over the last 10 years.
As technology continues to rapidly evolve, there is an increasing need to support our ākonga and whānau, working together collectively in a team effort - with us becoming digital guardians for our digital learners.
I do hope, (if you have worked alongside me in the past), that you will feel the spark and passion I bring, being your cheerleader and encouraging you along the way as you delve into the videos, activities and learning…
Thank you for respecting the copyright on the downloadable resources and for keeping these safe within your kura. The amount of time and love that has gone into this mahi holds real taonga.
More thank you’s…
More thank you’s…
To the kaiako, kura and tamariki I have worked alongside to bring this mahi together…. Thank you for your ninja focus, creativity, questions, time, dedication and encouragement. It is deeply appreciated and has made this journey all the more meaningful!
A particular shout-out to… Te Kura o Paeraki, Mt Pleasant and Te Raekura, Redcliffs School ākonga: Samuel, Isaac, Kai, Sarah, Lucy, Alana, Georgie, Gus and Lachlan. This fantastic team worked tirelessly to pull together our characters, animations and soundtrack in just 5 days… (with Kai being our master musician!)
To my friends and family who have encouraged me endlessly and endured many hours of proofreading, watching animations and being the best sounding board for my persistent wonderings… thank you for sticking with me!
Lastly, to my amazing husband, Simon (so much more than ‘the bag man’) and our incredible children, Evie and Theo - I do this mahi for you. Your hugs, cheers of enthusiasm and delightful insights into all things Digital Learning make it worth it tenfold.
